Experienced practitioner focused in cross-border civil & commercial legal practice across 30 years. Listed on the China Business Law Journal “A-List” 2024 and LegalOne Blue Ribbon “Highly Recommended 15 female legal practitioners in South and Central China” 2024. Nominated for the Asian Legal Business “Woman Lawyer of the Year: South China & Central China” 2024.

Specialising in Wealth Management, Cross-border Investment & Financing, Cross-border Civil & Commercial Dispute Resolution and Corporate Compliance. Acts in a variety of roles including Counsel, Mediator Arbitrator and Expert witness. Prior to joining Guanghe Law Firm, practiced at one of the oldest and largest law firms in Asia and also as in-house lawyer for a well-known multi-national enterprise in China Mainland.

Conversant with civil and commercial law in both China Mainland and Hong Kong SAR as well as international commercial law and procedure. Strategies combine litigation with alternative dispute resolution methodologies to assist domestic and overseas clients in efficiently recovering losses and protecting their legitimate rights and interests around the world. Negotiation and mediation are promoted to achieve practical solutions, quickly and cost effectively to prevent the escalation of disputes.

Serving on various Foreign Affairs Committees and International Business Associations, repeatedly connecting with global legal practitioners through organising of exchange visits, law seminars and facilitating cooperation between reputable overseas organisations; establishing a number of overseas liaison offices to assist in providing high-quality, cross-border legal services to clients.

Through the Justice Department, providing regular pro-bono legal consulting for foreign professionals in Shenzhen, servicing the needs of multiple nationalities and businesses, whilst supporting the international community in terms of clarifying laws and procedures through provision of lectures, publications and conducting mediations. Received the Shekou International Volunteer Outstanding Contribution Award (2020) for commitment to community work.

Recent Typical Cases 

·Cross-border, legal inheritance dispute involving a significant inheritance estate and heirs located in multiple jurisdictions. Obtained a winning judgment for Hong Kong based Clients.

·Representing UK and Australian based heirs to apply for revocation of a Chinese Court Verdict based on a fraudulent mediation agreement between the China heir and a third party. Obtained a winning judgment for Clients.

·Cross-border telecommunications fraud; acting for the claimant and obtaining a winning judgment and enforcement for Irish based Clients.

·Cross-border telecommunications fraud; acting for the claimant and obtaining a winning judgment and enforcement for Irish based Clients.

·Serving as Chinese legal expert witness in a cross-border equity trust dispute case heard by Hong Kong High Court. Testimony accepted by the Court.

·Counsel in an arbitration case involving a large scale equity transfer dispute. Obtained a winning award and efficient execution for the Client.

·During 2022-2024, as a standing Mediator for the People's Court of Qianhai Cooperation Zone in Shenzhen, leading a team successfully mediating over 400 commercial dispute cases.
